This is mostly for the folks who stormed the cockpit of United 93 on September 11th, 2001. They're probably some of my biggest heroes ever.
While I don't consider 2000+ people killed as a result of the attacks on the twin towers and the Pentagon any less of a tragedy, I disagree with people who refer to the World Trade Center/Pentagon victims as "heroes." They didn't die in the name of patriotism or justice, they died because they showed up for work that day. Go ahead and flame if you really feel that you should, but I assure you that I weep for all the victims equally.
It's rather simple, I know, but if I tried anything elaborate, I'd probably just end up disrespecting their memory. Pleh. D:
same, I feel bad for the people who died but Its not like buildings don't fall all the time, and people die in some pretty gruesome ways everyday, but put them together and suddenly the nation has a heart-attack. I think that this just proves the terrorists won...why?, most think of the towers and get terrorfied....sorry we had this thing at school, and whenever I spoke my mind it turned into a stupid political debate

I heard a radio station saying, "On this day we celebrate 9/11" why would se celebrate so many deaths? Anyway, yes, let them rest in peace. Wonderful drawing.
